1. Sport, Stability & Tradition
This module explores the science of movement through sport and Balinese tradition. Students study biomechanics and injury prevention while practicing yoga, surfing, mixed martial arts, and Legong dance. Emphasis is placed on alignment, breath, and functional movement to develop physical resilience and sustainable sport performance.
2. Environment and Sustainability
Students examine the environmental impact of sport and tourism in Bali. This module combines ecological theory with fieldwork in coral reefs, mangroves, and rural communities to explore sustainable practices. Topics include waste management, marine conservation, and eco-sport tourism, linking environmental action to wellness and active lifestyles.
3. Balinese Culture & Tradition
This module investigates how Balinese cultural values—especially Tri Hita Karana—support ecological balance and community wellness. Students explore traditional systems like Subak and Usada Bali, gaining insight into how spirituality, land use, and healing practices inform sustainable and health-oriented living.
4. Bahasa Indonesia
A practical language course designed to support fieldwork and cultural engagement. Students learn conversational Bahasa Indonesia and Balinese terms related to health, sport, and the environment, enhancing their ability to connect with communities and navigate daily interactions during the program.
5. Student Project
In this research-based module, students explore a self-chosen topic at the intersection of sport and environmental sustainability. With academic guidance, they analyze real-world issues—such as eco-tourism or the carbon footprint of sport events—and present their findings through a final paper and presentation.
