Winter course 2022 in Bali?

Calling all social sciences and political sciences enthusiasts and students!

This December 2022, upskill study Bali with Udayana university's Faculty of Social Sciences & Politics gladly present to reopen our new Intercultural Communications short course.

Since our new short course Intercultural Communications program was initiated and developed in 2019, we have been facing quite the challenge of making the program run due to the global pandemic back in 2022 where the pilot course was supposed to be run.

Several weeks ago, upskill team was invited to the Faculty of Social Sciences & Politics (FISIP), together with the study program leader Sukma Sushanti, S.S.,M.Si and the main team from the faculty, Richard Togaranta Ginting, S.Sos., M.Hum and Putu Titah Kawitri Resen, S.IP.,M. to discuss our Intercultural Communications new short course program and to see if we still have the possibility and opportunity to gain attention and participants to finally run the program at any time this year.

The result of our discussions is exciting! We came to the conclusion to move the course dates to the end of the year for us to be able to get the words out there in the upcoming months. The feedback and the energy from the Faculty of Social Sciences & Politics team, Shanti, Richard and Titah were exceptionally positive and hopeful, therefore of course our upskill team feels more driven to spread this great news!

upskill's short course Intercultural Communications provides fundamental theory of intercultural communication, globalization, social change, conflict management & political ecology. We believe that intercultural communication is a vital aspect of understanding and conveying information on events all over the world and a way of expanding biased views. We are once again thrilled to be able to collaborate with the most energetic, young intellects team of FISIP Udayana to share these insightful subjects and the opportunity to transfer their knowledge in an international setting, in Bali!

If you have an open agenda this end of year and would like to participate in our program please let us know, we'd love to hear from you!

Course dates 17th of December 2022 to 13th of January 2022

Application deadline 15th of November 2022
